Still here...

We survived the blizzard of 2009 and Ralphie stayed put! We were snowbound all day Saturday and Sunday. After 5 rounds of shoveling, Sean has the driveway down to pavement and is one hurtin' puppy today. Our road was finally plowed and we got out today to head to the Midwife and Sean went to work and did a big grocery store trip.

I had an internal today and made no progress since my last internal 10 days ago, which was a little disappointing I really thought I would be dilated since I lost my MP and had some bloody show on Thursday. Oh well, things can change
rapidly at this point. The MW thought Ralphie would hang in until after Christmas, but we are encouraging him to prove her wrong! They will let me go all of 42w, but with increased monitoring, u/s etc.. She did think he was approaching 8lbs though. Whoa...

My parents arrive in 2 days and we are just about ready for their arrival and very ready for the baby. Hopefully there is not a lot of sittin
g around staring at each other or I might just go crazy.

Last, but not least, LIBBY, the snowdog! :)

Wow! You may actually have a 2010 baby! And unless your doc has actually seen a penis, I kind of think you're having a girl. Just a feeling I get (which is probably totally wrong!)

I hope Ralphie is just hanging in there until the holiday. Or maybe until New Year's Day and s/he can share a birthday with EJ! Wouldn't that be amazing...two snowbabies born exactly one year apart :)

Glad to hear you didn't have blizzard labor!
As for progression, you just never know, you can be zero and then go into labor that night!
I hope you get a christmas-y baby, but not actual christmas, as my relatives with that never liked having their birthdays then.

Great dog pic - love it!

Glad to hear they'll let you go to 42 weeks but I'm hoping you won't need all that :) I can't wait to hear your news!

I can't believe it. That baby is staying put isn't it! I hope you enjoy your time with your parents. That picture of your dog is absolutely adorable.

Somebody seems very comfy just where they are! :)

I think we got over 20 inches of snow. My driveway has two stone walls around it, so that was a lot of fun for my poor husband to dig out of. It was Tuesday before I even ventured out, and I was SOOO bored by then!

Your doggie looks adorable!

Merry Christmas!
