August 7, 2004 - Married!!!
December 2004- Throw away BCP
2005 - annual OB/GYN appt -told to "just relax"
December 2006 - See RE for 1st time
December 2006-HSG reveals polyps in uterus
December 2006 - Sean has Sperm Analysis- learn we have Severe Male Factor Infertility
December 2006- Told IVF/ICSI is our only option for biological child
February 2007- Hysteroscopy to remove polyps
March 2007- Decide to "hold off" on IVF until we get better insurance or save enough $$$
December 2007- Learn we have 100% insurance coverage for IVF
January 2008 - begin BCP for IVF #1
March 2008- IVF #1 BFN (3dt 2 10cell embryos)
March 2008- Immediately begin BCP for IVF #2
May 2008- IVF #2 BFN (3dt 2 perfect 8 cell embryos)
June 2008- WTF appt- RE says protocol will remain the same, no further testing, move to a 5 day transfer
July 2008- Seek 2nd opinion- discuss major protocol changes, order repeat testing
August 2008- CD3 b/w shows elevated prolactin & rise in FSH-MRI ordered
August 12, 2008- MRI done and HSG repeated. HSG shows polyp or fibroid in uterus
August 2008- Surgery to repair Sean's varicocele, Em's MRI clear, polyp confirmed via SIS
November 6th - start Stims IVF #3- antagonist protocol
November 16, 2008 - ER - 11 eggs
November 19, 2008 - 3dt due to embryo quality. Transferred 3 embies. One 8 cell, two 5 cells. Assisted hatching.
November 30, 2008 - BFN. IVF #3 Failed
December 2008 - WTF appt and 2nd opinion appt at old clinic
Dec 2008 - decide to proceed with an FET at old clinic. More testing first.
January 2009 - begin health & wellness plan. Losing weight is a priority.
February 2009 - Mock cycle & further testing for FET. All clear!
March 19, 2009 - CD 1 of FET, begin Estrace, 16.2lbs lost!
April 1, 2009 - lining check - b/w & u/s look great! FET is officially on!
April 2, 2009 - begin progesterone and prednisone.
April 4, 2009 - Thaw Day!
April 8, 2009 - 6dt of 2 blasts. One hatching, one with AH
April 16, 2009 - Beta Day - BFP!! Beta #1=56
April 20, 2009- Beta #2 = 600!!! Doubling time 28.3 hours
April 27, 2009 - 3rd beta = 5600
May 5, 2009 - 1st u/s - one beautiful baby!
